Janice Vaughn learned from an early age that she could communicate with and control the actions of reptiles. Feeling most at ease around snakes, Janice eventually began to use her beauty to seduce and marry rich and influential men who would then suffer unfortunate accidental deaths from snake bites, she lives an extravagant and decadent lifestyle. And though she's been investigated multiple times by the authorities, they never seem to be able to prove she had any hand in the deaths of her many husbands. Janice was eventually approached by the mysterious mastermind known only as the Ghost Viper, and recruited into his team of reptile-themed villains under threat of blackmail. Janice begrudgingly uses her powers to manipulate and control reptiles as well as cause snakes to grow to tremendous size for the time being, until she can free herself from the Ghost Viper's influence.
