Chronarch redesign by Jay Piscopo

So I don't think it's a secret that despite some exceptional art drawn of him over the years, I've never been satisfied with my design for my villain THE CHRONARCH. He's just always seemed too bulky and clunky (for lack of a better word) to me. Being from the far future, I just thought he needed to be more streamlined, while maintaining his threatening posture.

Enter artist who tackled the challenge. He actually told me while we were talking that he didn't think there was anything wrong my my existing design. But, he offered to try his hand and maybe have it be an alternate timeline/Silver Age version. And we got this great guy. I love it. The Kirby is strong here, while hinting at his love of ancient Rome and maintaining the feel of what makes him the Chronarch to begin with.

So the good thing of the character being a time traveler is that I can offer this as a future incarnation, or a parallel timeline version, or maybe even a past incarnation before his current look. Midway between what I designed and... ah, but that would be telling, wouldn't it.
